<p>Set against the low green ridges of the Aravallis, just beyond the painted gateways of Amer, this five-bedroom villa trades the noise of the city for wide skies, birdsong and the smell of warm stone at dusk. Ten thousand square feet of private land sit behind the gates, and most of it is meant to be lived outdoors.</p><p>The architecture is Italian in spirit. Long horizontal lines, honey-toned stone cladding and full-height glazing frame the landscape rather than compete with it, so the forest leans in through every window. Inside, board-marked concrete ceilings meet deep teal upholstery, sculptural pendant lights and rounded stone tables, giving the interiors a calm, gallery-like ease.</p><p>Days here shape themselves around the water. The pool sits at the heart of a broad stone deck, wide enough for everyone to spread out with a book, a drink and nowhere in particular to be.
