2 BHK Valley View Apartment With Balcony, Terrace & Garden - Bhowali

High in the Kumaon hills above Bhowali, this British-inspired hill home looks out over a valley that changes character with the hour, misted at dawn, deep green by midday and gold along the ridgelines as the sun drops behind the pines.

Inside, the mood is unhurried and quietly formal. Carved wooden headboards anchor the bedrooms, cove lighting traces the ceilings, and brass sconces throw a soft glow over blush and sage linen. Wardrobes, hangers and a kettle sit within arm's reach for longer stays, while heaters keep the mountain chill at the door.

The living and dining spaces carry the same old-world confidence, with deep sofas set in carved wooden frames, a glass-topped centre table, glossy floors that catch the light and a television for slow evenings indoors. Meals are laid at a wooden table beside a lit crockery niche, and an open kitchenette keeps tea and coffee close at hand.

Step outside and the hills take over. A wooden-decked balcony with two chairs and a small table is where the day tends to start, cups warming hands, forest falling away below. A terraced garden of stone walls and clipped lawn invites slow afternoons, while the open terrace above is broad enough to host a large gathering, with paved flooring, planters and an uninterrupted sweep of forested ridges. Arrivals are met by a curving staircase, an iron balustrade and a chandelier that lend the entrance a quiet sense of occasion.

The setting suits a restorative family holiday, a reunion of old friends or a slow working retreat, within easy reach of Kainchi Dham, Bhimtal Lake, Sattal Lake, Naina Devi Temple and Nainital Lake, with a tea garden and Ghorakhal Temple only minutes away.

Note: There are multiple units at this property. The layout and interiors may vary based on availability at the time of allotment.
