Set beside the peaceful backwaters, with speedboat rides just moments away, this pet-friendly riverside retreat offers a quiet escape woven with tradition and nature. The entrance, marked by carved wooden doors and sloping tiled roofs, sets the tone for an authentic and soothing stay rooted in Kerala’s architectural heritage.
Lush greenery surrounds the property, where coconut palms sway gently and tropical plants bloom across an expansive garden. Antique elements like a traditional water wheel, vintage cart wheels, and stone benches enhance the charm.
The on-site restaurant reflects a thoughtful blend of local design and natural elegance. Its open-air setting, tucked beneath a pitched roof, welcomes soft breezes and uninterrupted views of the water—ideal for peaceful breakfasts, or intimate, candlelit dinners by the water.
The suite facade showcases timeless style, featuring terracotta-tiled coverings, carved pillars, and rustic window shutters. A wide veranda runs along the front, offering a shaded space to unwind and take in the view.
The bedroom is styled with warm wooden paneling and subtle traditional details, creating a restful ambience. The open-to-sky bathroom, finished with exposed stone and earthy textures, is fitted with modern amenities. Sunlight filters through the canopy above, while pebbled flooring underfoot adds a natural touch.
For those eager to discover more, kayaking, houseboat rides, shikara cruises, speed boat adventures, and cycle rentals can be arranged at an additional charge.
